Recommended Printers: Thermal printers that use a dry wax ink cartridge.

Application Instructions:

1) CREATE DESIGN - Using a graphics software, create your design and output to a thermal printer.

Determine the side of the paper your printer images to by making an "x" mark on a blank sheet of normal printer paper. Load IW Thermal paper so that the printer images the blank side. Remember to REVERSE / MIRROR the image in your computer software.

2) CUT DESIGN - Cut the design out completely as there is no need to leave a border.

3) POSITION DESIGN - Position design face down on fabric.

4) PREHEAT GARMENT - It is extremely important to preheat the garment before application. Press garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture and chemical treatment from the transfer area.

5) HEAT APPLY - Heat apply at a temperature of 350º - 375º F using MEDIUM pressure and the following times:
t-shirts 6-8 sec. sweatshirts 8-10 sec
mouse pads 6-8 sec. puzzles 6-8 sec.
nylon jackets 4-6 sec.  

PEEL HOT!


TIPS:

* This product is made for white cotton, polyester, & poly/cotton blends. If applied to light color shirts, a slight white tint may appear after washing. This tint is not harmful and may disappear over time.

* For an even softer finish on knit fabrics, stretch shirt slightly after applying transfer.

* Humidity levels affect the performance of the thermal printer and the paper. Best results are achieved at 50 - 70% relative humidity. Always keep the IW Thermal paper packed and sealed in the zip-close bag until used. Return all unused paper to the bag and reseal. CAUTION: Dampness in the paper will cause poor reproduction quality.

 
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
** Turn garment inside out & machine wash in warm or cold water ~ mild detergent. 122º F max. temp.
** Do not bleach.
** Tumble dry at a low setting.
** Do not dry clean.
** IW Thermal CAN BE ironed.
** Ironing will enhance the design's color.
