IW Inkjet for Darks Transfer Paper Tech Sheet

Recommended Substrates: Dark color 100% cotton, 100% Polyester, Poly/Cotton blends, fleece and Nylon.

Items needed: Computer, Graphics Software, Inkjet printer, IW Inkjet for Darks Transfer Paper, Heat Press

Recommend Application for IW INKJET for Darks Transfer Paper

Application Instructions:

1) CREATE & PRINT DESIGN - Using graphics software, create a design and output to your ink jet printer. Print on the coated, rough side of the transfer paper *Do NOT mirror your design. Do not use t-shirt transfer setting. For best results use high-resolution or photo-quality option. Use single sheet feeding only.

2) TRIM DESIGN - Trim around the design so as not to leave a border.

3) PREHEAT GARMENT - It is extremely important to preheat the garment before application. Press garment for 5-10 seconds to remove moisture and chemical treatment from the transfer area.

4) REMOVE DESIGN - Remove the cut design from its paper backing.

5) POSITION DESIGN - Position the design with logo facing upwards on the garment. Place a protective cover sheet over the design. Then, cover it with 5 sheets of normal paper (pre-pressed to take out the moisture).

6) HEAT APPLY -

On cotton/cotton blends: Press at 375° F using HEAVY pressure for 50 seconds.

On Nylon: Press at 350° F using HEAVY pressure for 25 seconds.

Remove cover sheet once completely cool. PEEL COLD!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
** Always turn garment inside out before washing.
** Machine wash warm at 40 degrees C.
** Do not use harsh or bleaching materials.
** After washing, we recommend turning the garment inside out and ironing the image from the back.
